Although “Swan Lake” has been restaged in many versions throughout history, most are based on the 1985 version by Lev Ivanov and Marius Petipa. Thomas Edur’s version combines beautiful dance classics with a loved story of romance, sorcery and the struggle between good and evil.

Svend E. Kristensen – Danish actor and Neo-puppetry developer

Actor in the opera “Dust”, August 28th and 29th at Narva Vaba Laval

After his studies at the University of Aarhus and puppetry studies in Japan Kristensen established and defined his own theatre of Neo-puppetry –  the ritual and the first performance. In DUST, five fascinating human-sized puppets, a luminescent opera soprano and a shadowy figure tell the tale of a world gone horribly wrong. A dramatically rendered, contemporary song-cycle imagines what little hope is left after an unavoidable global climate-catastrophe has struck in this sensual and moving puppet-dystopia.
